POLICE OFFICER
POSITION
The Richmond Police Department is seeking qualified, motivated, career-oriented
individuals for the position of Police Officer.
Interested candidates must hold a valid Maine driver’s license and
possess a high school diploma or G.E.D. certificate and be a certified Maine
Criminal Justice Academy graduate (Blue Pin) or able to obtain a waiver. Candidates are required to successfully
complete and pass a physical agility test, polygraph exam, psychological exam,
personal interview, thorough background investigation and physical examination
upon conditional offer of employment.
The Town of Richmond offers a very competitive salary and benefit
package commensurate with experience and education. The Police Department has received a COPS Hiring
Program and is looking to fill the position for at least a 3 year term.
