May 28th-Planning Board Meeting-6:00p.m. at the Marcia Buker School.  Notice of Public Hearing, the board will hold development review and public hearing to discuss an application by the Town of Richmond to construct a 3,000 S.F. public library at 86 Main Street Map U02 Lot 132.  All persons wishing to make comments or ask questions are invited to attend.  A copy of the full application is available for review at the Town Office.

Tim Sample Tickets on sale now-at the Town Office $15.00 ($20.00 at the door.)  When: Richmond Days-JULY 27TH at the Richmond High School.  Doors open at 6:00p.m. Showtime 7:00p.m.

 
Maine DOT will be rehabilitating the Reed Road Bridge #6315 on the Alexander Reed Road.  The scope of work consists of removing, and replacing the concrete surface.  The roadway will be limited to one lane traffic.  The traffic plan will be temporary traffic signals.  The duration of the project is approximately 8 to 10 weeks weather permitting.  The project start date is the middle of May.  If you have questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact Thomas Roberts at 592-2470 or by email: thomas.roberts@maine.gov.

 “Due to the Maine Forest Service's current predicted fire danger of high to very high in our area, we will not be issuing any burning permits until the conditions return to a lower fire danger.

 If you would like to check the fire danger it can be found on the Forest Service's web site at http://www.maine.gov/doc/mfs/firedanger/fire.shtml.

 Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.”

Burning Permits available online. The Town Office cannot issue permits at this time.
