  • Secured $333,000. Riverfront Community Development Bond Grant

 2008 ACHIEVEMENTS

  • Secured $500,000. CDBG Downtown Revitalization Grant for Streetscape Improvements.

  • Secured $400,000. CDBG Business Assistance Grant for Hodgdon Yachts, Inc.

  • Provided business technical assistance to several companies.

2007 ACHIEVEMENTS

  • Secured $150,000. CDBG Community Enterprise Grant for Business Facades and Streetscapes.
  • Downtown Revitalization: Façade Improvements to Main Street Buildings, Streetscape Improvements, Parking and Sidewalk Improvements.
  • Write/Develop Other Grant Applications.
  • Downtown TIF Development Fund and Capital Improvement Projects.
  • Develop New Credit Enhancement Agreements.
  • Assist Kennebec River Initiative.
  • Recreation and Tourism Marketing, Maps, Brochures.
  • New Gateway Signs/Information Kiosk.

2006 ACHIEVEMENTS

  • Secured $420,000. CDBG Public Infrastructure Grant.
  • Coordinated a successful $1,179,000. Town Storm Water Project.
  • Facilitated the Sale of the Richmond Business Center.
  • Developed Richmond Main Street Downtown Façade Program,
  • Initiated Downtown Revitalization-Phase III with Designs for Streetscape, Sidewalks, Façade Improvements, Parking, Building Site Improvements.
  • Conducted Successful Business Attraction Campaign.
  • Coordinated Richmond Pine Tree Zone Designations.
