Richmond Summer Recreation 2016 June 28-July 28


Summer Recreation meets Tuesday and Wednesday from 7:30a.m.-12:00p.m. and Thursday 7:30a.m. depending on the field trip activity at the Marcia Buker School.  Swim lessons are on Tuesday and Wednesdays.  There are no plans or supervision for children who chose not to swim.  The older participants (Grades 4-8) swim from 8:10a.m.-10:00a.m., the younger participants (Grades 1-3) swim from 10:00a.m.-11:45a.m.  Children participate in arts & crafts, board game activities and some active team and sport related games.

The participation fee is $100/child.  Families $100/first child, $75 each child there after.  Non-residents may sign up if room is available $200 non-resident fee.  Sign up sheets are available at the Town Office.  Return sign up sheet and payment to the town office before June 21.  If you have any questions please call Rose Beckwith at 504-4015/737-8555.

In partnership with the Mid Coast Hunger Prevention Program we will once again be offering snacks and lunches to ALL children in Richmond at 12:00 in the Cafeteria on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Please send your children in with a snack.


Bring a bagged lunch and sunscreen, wear sneakers.


We invite families and friends to participate in the group rates.
