Welcome to the Planning Board Page!
The Planning Board is made of appointed residents of the Town of Richmond that oversees the approval process of certain developments according to the Richmond Land Use Ordinance. The Board meets the fourth Tuesday of the month to assure the development comply with the standards of the Ordinance, consider the input from abutting properties owners, and make sure even if the development is allowed it does not negatively impact the Town of Richmond. The Board also addresses Land Use Ordinance amendments, any proposed amendment may come from the residents of the Town, the Selectboard, CEO or the Planning Board itself.
